Practical Tips for Bodybuilding Diet Grocery Shopping

Here are my tips for shopping like a bodybuilder.

  • Choose lean meats (Skinless Chicken, Skinless Turkey, Lean Beef-90% of higher, Tilapia, Swai).
  • For Breakfast, opt for whole eggs and egg whites.
  • Purchase enough protein to last a least one week (2-6lbs of meat), depending on your protein intake.
  • Choose low sodium, zero sodium condiments.
  • Select a variety of green veggies (asparagus, broccoli, spinach and green beans).
  • Chose either fresh or steamable veggies.
  • Purchase storage containers to freeze the food.
  • Purchase 6-8 gallons of water. Water intake is key to diet and weight loss.
  • Use PAM, nonstick spray to cook meats.
  • Avoid food products and drinks with more than 5 grams of sugar.
